Job Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field and surgical instruments

• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes promptly

• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient care

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed with the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia (CRNNS)

• Minimum 2 years experience in Operating Room nursing

• Current ACLS and CPR certification

• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
